What are Scribble It transfers made of?

Scribble It is made of very, very thin pieces of vinyl. A light adhesive holds each vinyl piece firmly to most hard, smooth surfaces until you're ready to remove them. Vinyl gives Scribbles a printed on look, and not like vinyl at all. The matte finish helps reduce reflection and provides a residue-free removal.

Are Scribbles reusable?

Sadly, no. Due to the thinness of the vinyl, it tends to stretch and tear during removal. You will also lose the pre-positioning of the lettering.

How do I hang my Scribble?

Will Scribbles work on "orange peel" or "heavy texture" walls?

While many customers have been able to get their Scribbles to work on textured walls, we recommend requesting a sample to test prior to ordering. Be sure to request a sample.

Do you do logos?

While we don't design logos, we are happy to turn your logo into a Scribble. Just email your artwork as a vector file (.ai or .eps file) to orders@scribbleitonline.com.

Can I hang my Scribble in a bathroom?

Humidity doesn't affect your Scribble. Although we recommend applying to a dry surface

Can I apply my Scribble to freshly painted walls?

We recommend waiting for at least one month before applying your Scribble. If a piece of masking tape doesn't remove your paint then go ahead!

Can I apply anything over my Scribble to preserve it?

Polyurethane has worked with great results, same with Epoxy. Be sure to apply it to the entire wall/surface and not just over your Scribble.

Can I apply my Scribble It to wallpaper?

It's possible, when in doubt request a sample.

How do I clean my Scribble?

Using a mild detergent or a damp rag, simply wipe across your Scribble and then dry completely. Do not use alcohol based cleaners or abrasives.

How do I remove my Scribble?

Simply slip your nail under one corner and pull gently. If the decal offers resistance a hair dryer set on low will help to loosen the decal.

How long can I store my Scribble?

The longer your Scribble sits, the harder it will be to apply it. That is why we recommend ordering when you are ready to use it. If you must store your Scribble, you will achieve the best results if it is kept away from extreme temperatures and chemical. DO NOT store your Scribble in the garage and if possible, keep the decal in the original packaging.

What is your return policy?

What do you mean by "Reverse Direction"?

Reverse Direction simply means that you want the decal to be sent in a reversed format. This is perfect for applying to the inside of windows or front doors so that the text is legible from the outside.
